Located at Jaycee Park on the beautiful Indian River in Fort Pierce, Florida. We are co-sponsored by the Fort Pierce Yacht Club and The City of Fort Pierce.
The Foundation's first sailing class was June 4th, 2007. Since then, we have provided sailing instruction by certified sailing instructors for children 7 to 14 years of age, with some 500 student registrations over 7 seasons, including about 60 free tuition and lunch grants to children from disadvantaged homes.
Help us with our expansion and fundraising program. Our recently renovated facility is now known as the Fort Pierce Sailing Center, home of Treasure Coast Youth Sailing Foundation.
We are a 501 (c) (3) non profit and donations from individuals and
businesses in the community have helped us get to where we are today,
and will allow us to reach our goals for the future.
"Our goal is to instill self discipline, self confidence and the spirit of teamwork in our students while teaching them to sail -- helping shape the minds and bodies of tomorrow's leaders."
